Watson Theologica
Coming soonTheological answers from the primary sources of the Reformed tradition.
Watson Theologica is a study tool. Ask a theological question and it answers from a curated corpus of Reformed and patristic primary sources, each mapped to confessional orthodoxy, so you hear Calvin, Turretin, Bavinck and the rest in their own words rather than a summary of them.
The corpus is built by hand: every work is ingested, chunked, and curated passage by passage before it is searchable. The aim is not a chatbot that sounds Reformed, but a reference that lets the tradition speak for itself and shows you where it came from.
What it does
- Answers cite primary sources, with the passage and the work it came from
- Corpus mapped to the Reformed confessions, so you can see where a voice sits
- Curated by hand, one theologian at a time, rather than scraped
- Scripture index: start from a verse and find who has written on it
- Built for pastors, elders, students, and serious lay readers
